Building up trust – First leading with the lead rope

The natural response of an untrained horse to pressure on the rope is to pull back and horses first need to learn to be led in their basic training. In this part, Arnar Bjarki Sigurðarson (B.Sc. in Riding and Riding instructions and head trainer at Sunnuhvoll) demonstrates how to teach the horse to follow the rope and the rider in a respectful way.
