The basic response to the lead rope 1/6

In the first part of the series on how to introduce the saddle to a young horse, Sigvaldi Lárus Guðmundsson (FT Riding teacher from Hólar University & head trainer at Kvistir) demonstrates first training inside the box with the three-years-old Garpur frá Kvistum. In this environment, the youngster feels more save and can learn the first basic response to the lead rope with other horses close-by. The correct response to the lead rope is a key feature for all further training and for introducing the saddle in a horse-friendly way.
